South Bay’s ‘Van Wilder II’ Poster Dog Ready For The Golden Globes
Hollywood CA – This year’s 64th annual Golden Globes will bring out some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities. Names like Clooney, Hanks, Lopez, Hayek, Stiller and Spade are expected to attend.
Also in attendance will be South Bay’s ‘Handsome’, one of the poster bulldogs from the upcoming movie Van Wilder II.
While Handsome is not expected to compete with Leonardo DiCaprio or Will Smith for best actor, Handsome will strut his stuff at The Golden Globes alongside owner Gina Graziadio.
As Mrs. Graziadio tells it, “Handsome got his start after being discovered on a South Bay beach.” “People would come up and tell us how beautiful he was and one day I was approached by an agent,” Gina says.
She adds, “From there, we took Handsome on one audition and the next thing we know he’s being cast as one of the poster bulldogs in the new movie Van Wilder II.”
Handsome has been in a number of other features for Pedigree Dog Food, Kohls, and Designer Shoe Warehouse.
At this year’s Golden Globes Handsome will represent Cunard Cruise Lines, since Cunard has special kennels that allow cruise goers to bring their pets.
The details of Handsome’s red carpet responsibilities are being worked out, but it’s likely that he’ll be on ET Tonight, Access Hollywood and Fox TV.
To make sure Handsome looks beautiful, Gina brings him to The Studly Pooch for grooming. “We love taking Handsome to The Studly Pooch and we know he’ll be ready for the Globes,” Gina says.
While at The Studly Pooch, Handsome always gets a Cherry Remoisturizer Treatment and a Shed Reduction. These keep his coat soft and reduce his shedding.
